Meet Mandy!
Mandy Vickers Zahniser was born in Thomasville, Ga. She has two brothers, an older and younger brother and she adores both! Her parents have and always will be her greatest blessing. Her family moved to Memphis, Tennessee after she was born and then settled in Tallahassee, Florida. Her middle school years were spent in Leesburg, Florida. Upon entering high school her family moved to Georgia. After high school graduation she then attended Bainbridge College, transferred to Valdosta State University and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003. She furthered her education by pursing a life long dream of enrolling in Culinary Arts school. She graduated from Keiser University with her Associates of Science Degree in Culinary arts in 2005. A move to Athens allowed her to complete  her culinary externship and developed into a full time job working in an Assisted Living home. With family and friends In South Georgia she was offered a position in Thomasville and took the opportunity to head back to what she called home. Her career has been spent serving the senior population and working with Alzheimer’s residents in multiples assisted living homes since she was 16 years old. Both internships/externships in college involved serving seniors. Mandy is very passionate about seniors and their long term care and well being and enjoyed her years serving as an Executive Director of an Assisted Living home.

She has been married for 7 years and has a little girl Aisling. A life long dream of being a mother was fulfilled when she was given the gift of her little girl! Her world felt complete and she savors every minute with Aisling.  She is a 4th year member of Junior Service League, a member of First Baptist Church where she has taught Sunday school, and served AWANAS and VBS. She works for Lives Without Limits and served on the board for six years prior to becoming an employee. She enjoys serving the community through various projects and needs. She feels honored to be a part of such a compassionate community.
