Sarah Frances was raised in Thomasville, GA and still resides here today with her dog, Cammie. She graduated from Auburn University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education and again in 2012 from Thomas University with a Masters Degree in Reading Education. She knew from a very young age she wanted to be a teacher so that is what she set out to do. She began her teaching career in 2010 at Hand in Hand Primary School as an assistant teacher then moved on to be a lead teacher. This August she transferred to the Thomasville City Schools to become the English as a Second Language teacher for the system.
Having had a mother who was in JSL she always wanted to be a member as well. She knew those fine women were someone she wanted to be a part of. She sees firsthand where some of the money JSL raises goes due to her working in the schoolsystem. In the past, she has been on the JSL auction committee and has also served as the auction chairperson. She currently helps with the sponsorship committee.
